The Arms of Nirvana

I took this picture with my iPhone from high in a Monkey Pod Tree.  I blew up the resolution and used some different filters to gain a painterly feel.  The reclining buddha nestled in a branch represents the final teachings of Buddha: the nirvana sutra.   This stated that enlightenment was available to people of all walks of life, not only the monk or aescetic who withdrew from society.  To me this relates to the 3 Treasures of the Way, unblocking the chi, with love, moderation, and humility.  This is on display as a stretched canvas 24"x48".
